Dipak Mukhopadhyay was born on 15th September 1943. His father late Shri Jogish Chandra Mukhopadhyay was a Bengal Civil Service Officer. His mother late Smt Maya Devi took great interest in astrology and Indian Philosophies. She was a good singer, particularly for songs on Bhakti (Kirtan). Shri Mukhopadhyay did his schooling from Hare School, Calcutta. Thereafter he joined St. Xavier’s College. He then obtained the Degree of Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering with Honours from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, in the year 1964. |

He held various positions in Military Engineering Services, Ministry of Defense, Government of India. He retired as the Engineer-in-Chief of Municipal Corporation of Delhi on 30.9.2003. He is presently working as " Consultant " and is attached with a number of Civil Engineering firms / developers. He is also a Rabindra-Sangeet singer. He tries to follow the preachings of Lord Nityananda Mahaprabhu and Lord Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu) in the manner as explained by his spiritual teacher (DIKSHA-GURUDEV) Shri Muralidhar Das Babaji Maharaj. |
